Getting started
From Checkout to a live social preview. Nine steps. Use the labels you see in the product.
Your site key is a public OG identifier. It appears inside your og:image URL so crawlers can fetch the card. That is expected.
Account, brand kit, domain verify, and billing use your checkout email (magic link) and the Stripe customer portal — not the site key as a password.
- On the home page, click Start 7-day trial and finish Checkout. Card required. After Checkout you land on Your hosted OG URL — we show the site key and email a backup.
- That success page is your production
/og/<siteKey>/…URL (trial included, not stamped). Copy it. Hosted cards work as soon as Checkout completes — no first paid invoice. - Later, recover at /account. The H1 is Your site key. Enter the checkout email and click Send link. We email a magic link if there is a live subscription (trial counts).
- On the access page, set the brand kit: Logo URL, Accent, Ink, and Font (Inter or Plus Jakarta Sans). Logo must be a public URL on a verified host, ≤180KB. Click Save brand kit.
- Under Verified domains, enter the host in Domain and click Verify domain. Serve
/.well-known/cardurl.txtcontaining your site key first. If it fails you will see “That domain is not a public host.” or “Put your site key in https://your.domain/.well-known/cardurl.txt and try again.” Exact host;wwwis treated the same. No subdomain wildcard. - Pick a template: blog, launch, changelog, or docs. Same names on the lander try-it and on paid URLs. See templates.
- Set
og:imageto your hosted CardURL URL for each page you care about:https://cardurl.dev/og/YOUR_SITE_KEY/blog?title=Ship+it&author=youor auto?url=on a verified domain. Examples: Install examples. - Public reachability: crawlers GET that HTTPS image. If the URL 404s, the card is blank. The marketing
/previewpath is stamped and is not for production. - Check a live page at /check — Social preview generator. Labels: Page URL and Read page. Questions: hello@loopspur.com. Billing: Manage billing on the account access page opens the Stripe customer portal.
